My name is Moira Eason, and I am the owner of Lotus Luxe Transportation.

In my 18 years as an Emergency Department nurse, I’ve seen how changes in healthcare have left many patients without reliable transportation home after a hospital stay. Today, unless strict criteria are met, hospitals can no longer provide ambulances or transportation assistance. Getting home from a hospitalization, to or from a medical appointment/ treatment, or even getting home from a day procedure can be very challenging if you have mobility issues, need someone to come inside, or simply dont want to rely on a rideshare service who will only wait at the curb and not assist if needed.

Lotus Luxe Transportation fills these gaps for those who don’t require an ambulance but want or need more than a standard cab or rideshare. Our services are provided by trained health care professionals who, while not delivering medical care, are experienced in safely assisting patients. At Lotus Luxe, we don’t just drop you at the door—we accompany you every step of the way to ensure you get home safely, and, if needed, can even help you get settled inside. We can also pick up or deliver new prescriptions, and we have our own equipment in case you need it for transport.

What We Offer

At Lotus Luxe, we provide non-emergency medical tranportation on demand. This includes home from hospital after discharge, scheduled pickup and drop off for doctors appointment/ any treatments, nurses available to pick you up bedside and get you safely settled at home after having a procedure (ie colonoscopy) or surgery.

Safe transportation for patients is our top priority. If you have needs not covered here, please reach out to us. If we can’t help, we will try to help find someone who can.

*We are unable to bill medical insurance at this time and payment is due at time of ride. Check with your insurance company about any reimbursement options. Cash, Venmo, credit cards accepted

Scheduled appointment no assistance $75 +
Scheduled appointment requiring assistance $100 +
Prescription pickup en route $25 additional
Prescription pick up and delivery following day $50 additional
9pm-6am $50 additional
Rides over 10 miles may incur additional charges

Serving Weaverville, Woodfin, Asheville, Candler, Buncombe County, Black Mountain, Fletcher, Arden, and some parts of Yancey, Madison, and Henderson counties
